Accounting Internships
Internships are typically
done during the spring term of your senior year. Most employers
require minimum cumulative and accounting GPAs of 3.0, but there
may be some limited opportunities for students who have slightly
lower GPAs. On Campus interviews for Spring 2010 and Summer 2010
internships will be held in Mary Martin Hall from September 14-24,
2009. You must register on Tiger
Recruiting Link in order to participate in interviews.
Academic credit is available
for an accounting internship, but it must be approved in advance
and you must plan your academic plan very carefully. If you have
a 3.0 GPA, make arrangements now to meet with your advisor to incorporate
an academic credit internship into your coursework. The following
internship and recruiting sessions will be held during the 2009-2010
academic year:
